Mike Patton - A Perfect Twist (2:46) [Soundtrack]
From “A Perfect Place” OST. Don’t expect me to go describing it or anything, how could I. Suffice to say the entire album is by Mike Patton.

KTL - Forest Floor 4 (8:17) [Dark Ambient]
Dark ambient/drone with black metal aesthetics. This is just a sample of what they’ve done, from their eponymous debut (2006). I recommend subscribing to their podcast/feed; full recordings of their live shows are free to download.
Prometheus Burning - Significantly Altered (6:25) [Industrial]
I don’t listen to industrial much anymore, but one song I still having on my hard drive is Prometheus Burning’s “Significantly Altered” from their 2006 album Beyond Repair. It’s loud, noisy and feels like someone jackhammering your skull. This isn’t VNV Nation “industrial.”
Burning Witch - History Of Hell (6:01) [Doom]
Here’s some deliciously heavy doom, courtesy of Southern Lord Records’ mp3 page. Formed by Stephen O’Malley, Greg Anderson and Jamie Sykes in 1995, this is a precursor to well known doom/drone bands such as KHANATE (O’Malley) and Sunn O))) (O’Malley/Anderson).
DJ Baby Anne - Body Movin’ (Bass Mekanik Remix) (4:32) [Breakbeat]
This is a remix of Body Movin’ from her 2000 album, In the Mix, Vol. 2. DJ Baby Anne is a Florida DJ known for her breaks and bass music. I haven’t listened to her in a while, actually. But something lit a fire under my ass to listen to her again and I’m glad I did.
Hanzel und Gretyl - Hallelujah (3:01) [Industrial Rock]
I’m posting HuG’s version of “Hallelujah” for laughs and because the song I was originally going to upload is apparently too big (despite being 10MB) and I’ll be damned if I’m going to transcode the fucking thing. Enjoy this instead.
Black Ham - The Crusade (5:30) [Dubstep]
I’m not normally a fan of much dubstep (too much reggae influence, usually), but Black Ham’s songs are heavy, with a touch of darkness. This track is from the RUFF 02 12”.
Primordial - Gods to the Godless (7:50) [Irish Metal]
Primordial is one of Ireland’s most well known metal acts. Originally a black metal band, they developed a unique sound that’s difficult to classify. Most of their songs have an anthemic, even uplifting, feel; this one is no exception. This is from Spirit the Earth Aflame (2000).
